Designing your programme
The programme SOLD will design for your team depends on the length of your visit, particular requirements you may have, such as catering and accommodation, and what you really want to achieve with your visit.
Every employee is unique and should be supported in a way that effectively capitalises on their individual characteristics. Our experience shows that professional development in the outdoors delivers a real return on investment through increased productivity, motivation and staff retention.
SOLD's team development programmes are designed to promote self-evaluation, thus enabling an employee to identify their own core strengths and potential limitations. Participants are encouraged to formulate an action plan with the aim of enhancing personal performance back in the workplace.
SOLD will design and deliver a bespoke team development package for your organisation based around your specific needs and outcomes from a one day visit to a week long residential stay.
Recruitment assessment and selection
On average 250 CV's are received for each job position. SOLD has extensive experience in running assessment days where applicants undergo a variety of outdoor challenges that require them to display the key skills they will need in the workplace, such as personal initiative, communication, organisation, leadership, team work and many more.
Applicants are scored and selected to go forward only if they display the skills and qualities outlined in the personal specification criteria set forward by your company.
We also run interview sessions in which candidates are questioned and scored, according to criteria set out by you. This service, in combination with outdoor assessment, offers a far more in-depth assessment and selection process, ensuring that only the very best candidates are sent forward for final interviews with your organisation.
