We are always looking to add outdoor workers and catering/domestic staff to our centre teams – bank staff, annualised hours contracts and full time.

Domestic supervisor

£15,261.31 per annum. pro rata for 1404 hours per annum which includes a 14% holiday entitlement, commencing April 2017, for a fixed term of 2 years.

We are looking to recruit a cleaning supervisor to cover work across our three busy centres, working predominantly at High Ashurst. Approximate hours of cleaning are 9.30pm - 2.30pm. There will also be a requirement to work in the catering team from time to time. Hours vary from week to week to suit the business needs but you will be required to complete all contracted hours within the year. Flexible working is required 7 days per week

Bank catering and domestic assistants

We are looking for reliable, conscientious catering and domestic staff  to take care of our visitors and facilities Although this is a dual role, We are also looking for staff who specialise in either catering or domestics.

Catering specialist - The role will be varied requiring good catering skills. You will assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of meals at our centres.

Domestics specialist - We are also looking for staff who specialise in housekeeping. This includes all domestic aspects of hospitality. Duties will include cleaning, replenishing stock, preparing beds and laundry.

Work experience

Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development is committed to offering a range of high quality placement opportunities to young people and adults currently in education. The placements are well structured and designed to meet the specific learning outcomes of the individual, to support their areas of interest, complement their curriculum and develop the key competencies that will maximise their employability.

We will consider placements in the following areas:

  • Outdoor education worker - working beside our instructors, assisting in running outdoor activity sessions for our visitors.
  • Catering and domestic worker - assisting with preparation and serving of food and the cleaning of the residential facilities.
  • Maintenance worker - assisting in the grounds and general maintenance of the facilities.
