If you didn't attend the 2017 conference, then you can read our recap blog to hear about what you missed out on! If you're still not sure if you are going to book a place for this year's conference, then one of these four reasons should put any indecision to bed! You'll find you want to book ASAP if...

You're An Educator

The 2018 Learning Beyond The Classroom conference is the perfect place for primary and secondary (KS3 – transition) school educators to learn more about effective outdoor learning, as well as find inspiration on how to integrate it into your own lessons and curriculum. The conference is specifically geared towards KS1-2 (Deputy) Head Teachers, outdoor education coordinators, primary sports coordinators, and teachers assisting in OAA (Outdoor and Adventurous Activities Scheme) or pupils' transition from primary to secondary school.

You Want to Be Engaged

The conference will include a range of practical workshops for attendees to join, covering a range of topics, including how to integrate outdoor learning across the school's curriculum. Each attendee can choose up to three workshops at the time of booking, so act now to confirm your place in your chosen workshops!

You Want to Be Inspired by Familiar Faces

We're delighted to welcome keynote speakers Kate Humble (of Springwatch fame!), Juliet Robertson from Creative Star Learning (author of "Dirty Teaching" and "Messy Maths"), and Kim Sommerville from Learning Away to share their wisdom and experience at the Learning Beyond The Classroom conference this year!

We're also proud to be partnering with Surrey Wildlife Trust, Learning Away, and the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom.

You Want a Good Deal

If you're as passionate as SOLD are about continuing to develop and nurture young minds, then one of our outdoor learning courses for teachers may be just what you're looking for!
