Learning outside the classroom, the benefits are clear!

outdoor-learning-benefitsThere are many initiatives that schools are undertaking to improve the health and wellbeing of their children by encouraging them to become more active including PALSS – Physically Active Learning in Surrey Schools. The same can be said for outdoor learning when delivered as an integrated part of the curriculum - every day!

Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development are passionate about getting young people into the outdoors and to learn in different and exciting ways which is showcased at our 'Learning Beyond the Classroom' conference which is now into its fourth year. Taking place on Friday 29th March 2019, this hugely popular conference is a packed day of speakers, workshops and networking with other like-minded outdoor learning educators. And not forgetting plenty of fuel to get you through the day with a light breakfast, refreshments throughout the day and a tasty lunch!

2019's conference is all about the 'every day' outdoor curriculum and where inspirational industry speakers and TV presenter and naturalist Nick Baker will equip you with ideas and resources to help you deliver this back in your school. We are also offering an increased number of hands on, practical workshops, many different to previous years, which will share lesson ideas and improve your confidence in creating an outstanding outdoor curriculum across your school.

Book now with confidence that this conference will seriously (and positively) affect your children's performance, health and well-being when you return to school fully energised and motivated to create your 'Every day outdoor learning curriculum'!

£150 per delegate including all resources, refreshments, food and goody bag!
