Apprentice and graduate development

Apprentice development

Apprenticeships are helping young people to get into work and gain a qualification as well as supporting employers to invest in improving the skills of their workforce.

Our apprentice development programmes are hugely successful in cultivating essential key skills in apprentice's who are new to the professional workplace. The aim of the course is to provide a range of development training opportunities, which will compliment their work placement and increase their chances of success both during their work placement and beyond.

Outcomes are achieved by using a combination of group work, discussion, outdoor activity, review and theoretical knowledge. The training days will aim to meet the needs of different learners from a range of different backgrounds. Outcomes on the training days are directly linked back to the individuals work placements in order to achieve maximum impact.

Graduate assessment and development

"Work is new and daunting challenge for some people, and for others a new work place can be quite intimidating and scary. We have learnt to look fear and adversity in the face and tackle it head on to the best of our abilities, and not to shy away from a challenge, but make it your own."

Graduate Business Development Assistant

Competition for graduate vacancies in today's job market is fierce with approximately 70 graduates applying for each position. Our graduate development programmes are hugely successful in cultivating essential key skills in graduate recruits who are new to the professional workplace.

The course incorporates a mixture of outdoor challenges and classroom learning. This approach allows for a more in-depth theoretical exploration of the skills required to succeed in the workplace, alongside practical outdoor sessions in which these skills are put into practice. Outcomes on the training days are directly linked back to the individuals work placements in order to achieve maximum impact.

Graduate and apprentice programmes may be offered as a one-week induction course or split into sessions and spread throughout the duration of a placement.
