Book TAZ holiday activities at Henley Fort
Our school holiday activities run during school holiday in Guildford.
Henley Fort offers land-based activities during school holiday and water-based activities only during the holiday at Dapdune Wharf in Guildford. A chance to explore the surrounding countryside and the Wey Navigation (canal).
All activities are delivered by our qualified and experienced outdoor education workers.
Whether you book for one day, a week or a weekly programme, our staff will facilitate a structured outdoor experience and engage with your group to maximise their learning opportunities.

We accept childcare vouchers and Tax Free childcare for holiday activities.

Drop off and pick up time
Drop off is at 9.30am and pick up is at 4.15pm
Online booking only
TAZ courses and activities are only bookable online.
Land activities that may take place:
- Archery
- Bush craft survival skills: fire lighting, cooking over fire, den building, tracking, bug hotel building, scavenger hunt, nature hike
- Orienteering, including map and compass skills and navigation around site
- Team challenges and games
- Eco arts and crafts: mud faces and natural art
- Climbing
All land activities take place at the centre Henley Fort.
Water activities that may take place:
- Paddle boarding
- Canoeing
Drop off location for water activities Dapdune Wharf in Guildford.
These sessions run from Dapdune Wharf, GU1 4RR. Please meet there from 9.30am (not at Henley Fort) and wait for the Surrey Outdoor Learning Instructor.

We have a range of activities available throughout the summer holidays for ages 8 to 13 years.
Family activities
You can book a fun adventure for you and your family at any of our sites - High Ashurst, near Dorking, Henley Fort in Guildford and Thames Young Mariners, near Richmond.
